General
- NICVA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend, delete or remove any user or user created content from the site, at any time for any reason without prior notice or liability.
- Participants are solely responsible for all the content they provide on MediaConnect. NICVA has the right, but not the obligation, to correct any errors or omissions in any content, as it may determine at its sole discretion.
- Participants must not use information derived from MediaConnect for any purpose other than the intended use, including bulk downloading of information or sharing data outside of their own organisation.
- MediaConnect information must not be used for marketing or sales purposes.
- Participants can remove their profile from MediaConnect at any time.
- By using MediaConnect, you acknowledge that you may be contacted by NICVA regarding your account and participation when necessary.
- Please be mindful that MediaConnect is currently in 'Beta' mode and is therefore still in the earlier stages of development. The operation of this site is therefore subject to change.

- By using the MediaConnect service you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Voluntary and Community Sector Users
- Voluntary and Community Sector participants must be from a NICVA member organisation (or have individual membership of NICVA) to be eligible for MediaConnect. If you are not a NICVA member you can join here.
- Eligible organisations can have one or more people listed on MediaConnect.
- Participants must commit to maintaining their profile and contact details with accurate and up to date information. A 'last updated' date will be visible to media professionals. Profiles that have not been reviewed or updated for long periods are
unlikely to be used by the media.
- Participants agree to be contacted by media professionals and by NICVA, using any of the information supplied through MediaConnect, as required to maintain and develop the service.
- Participants are encouraged to agree to media requests meeting their area of expertise if available, as to refuse would invalidate the purpose of MediaConnect and potentially harm future working relationships with journalists.
Media Professional Users
- Those wanting to register for MediaConnect must be bona-fide media professionals (this includes: journalists, broadcasters, producers, editors and researchers for established media organisations).
- Bloggers and media outlet start-ups can contact the MediaConnect team to request access.
- Media organisations may have multiple professionals register on the site.
- Media professionals can contact voluntary and community sector participants using the contact details provided. This information should not be downloaded or stored elsewhere.
- Information derived from MediaConnect about participants and their organisations, should only be used for the intended purposes of the service and must not be passed on to third parties outside the media and voluntary sectors.
